Writers Connect Activities
Singapore Poetry Slam™ – held every last Tuesday of each month at Velvet Underground, Zouk Club since May 2003, is a mixed live arts venue for poets, storytellers, thespians, original music artists, makers of short films, comedians, dancers and multimedia artists, making it one of the best attended regular literary events in Singapore.
The National Youth Poetry Slam League Competition - co-funded by CCS (MICA) and Word Forward (supported by the National Library Board and The Arts House) aims to establish poetry as a literature support tool into schools and as a CCA activity with a national level contest as a regular part of the SYF.
Arts Education - Quality literary arts enrichment programmes conducted by writers and qualified artists including native speakers.
WriterSpeak - Interviews and performances by poet-performers from around the globe
